Ultrasonic Air Leak Detection

Leaks you can't see or hear — found with ultrasonic equipment while the line stays running.

What we do

Compressed air leaks are invisible and mostly inaudible over plant noise, but they run up your electricity bill continuously. We survey the line under pressure and mark every leak.

LocationWhy it leaks
Quick-connect fittingsRepeated connect/disconnect wears the seal
Hose-to-fitting jointsVibration and flexing loosen clamps
FRL unitsBowl seal and drain valve wear
Unused open line endsNot capped off

Frequently asked questions

How much does a compressed air leak actually cost?
Leaks are invisible but constant — the compressor keeps working to feed air nobody uses. One leak seems trivial; across hundreds of connection points in a plant, it shows up clearly in the electricity bill and compressor lifespan.
Do I need to stop production for the survey?
No — the opposite. The line has to be under pressure for leaks to make sound, so a running system is ideal. Zero disruption to your production.
How does the ultrasonic device find leaks?
Escaping compressed air produces a characteristic sound in the ultrasonic frequency range, inaudible to the human ear. The device picks it up and converts it to an audible signal — the signal strengthens as you approach the source, pinpointing the leak.
What do you deliver after the survey?
Every leak found is reported with its location, the equipment it's on, and its relative severity, so your maintenance team can prioritize repairs. A verification survey after repairs is also available.
