Frequently asked questions
What information do you need to select a sensor?
Five things: what's being measured (liquid/solid, is it sticky), the tank height or range, temperature and pressure, the required output signal, and whether you need continuous measurement or a point alarm.
Which level sensor works in a foamy liquid?
Ultrasonic sensors struggle in foam. Radar-type sensors or hydrostatic measurement are more reliable there — tell us the foam density and we'll recommend accordingly.
Inductive or capacitive sensor — which do I need?
If what you're detecting is metal, inductive is more stable and less affected by dirt. If you need to detect plastic, liquid, wood or granular material, you need capacitive.
Can you supply a sensor compatible with my existing setup?
Yes — tell us your signal type, supply voltage and process connection, and we'll recommend a compatible product without requiring you to rebuild the system.
Do you support process control system setup, not just sensors?
We support selection, sourcing and commissioning on the sensor and measurement side. Describe your need and we'll work out together which measurements are actually required and where.
