Frequently asked questions

Impact wrench vs. torque-controlled tool — what's the difference?
Impact wrenches are for loosening and fast tightening; the torque they deliver isn't controlled. Torque-controlled tools stop at a set value, giving every joint the same preload — required for critical connections.
Can I use a normal socket on an impact wrench?
No. Standard chrome sockets aren't built for impact and can shatter — a safety risk. Always use impact-rated (black) sockets.
How is reaction force at high torque managed?
With a reaction arm. Reaction force at the operator's wrist becomes dangerous at high torque; a reaction arm transfers that force to a fixed point.
Do you help select tools for a production line?
Yes — based on torque range, cycle time and reach constraints, we work out the right tool and accessory combination.
