Frequently asked questions
Epoxy or instant adhesive — which one do I need?
The deciding factor is the gap: if there's a gap between the surfaces, epoxy fills it and carries load. If the surfaces mate tightly and speed matters, instant adhesive is the right choice.
Why isn't my glue joint holding?
In most cases, the adhesive isn't the problem — surface prep is. Oil, rust, moisture or dust on the surface will defeat even the best adhesive if it isn't cleaned first.
Why use a thread locker instead of just tightening the bolt?
Vibration works bolts loose over time regardless of torque. An anaerobic thread locker fills the thread clearance and cures solid, resisting vibration and protecting against corrosion at the same time.
Will thread locker prevent me from ever removing the bolt again?
Depends on the grade. Low- and medium-strength grades come apart with a normal hand tool. High-strength grades usually need heat. For serviceable joints, stay at medium strength.
