What is a hydraulic power unit and what does it do?
It's the heart of a hydraulic system: it stores oil, pressurizes it via a pump, and routes it through a valve block to cylinders or hydraulic motors.
Can my existing power unit be overhauled instead of replaced?
Yes. Pump and valve condition is assessed, sealing elements renewed, tank cleaned and oil changed. If the housing and main components are sound, overhaul is usually significantly more economical than a new unit.
Why does my unit's oil keep overheating?
The most common cause is internal leaks — pressure turns into heat instead of doing work. Other causes: reduced cooler efficiency, undersized tank, wrong oil viscosity, or a relief valve stuck partly open.
What information do I need for a power unit order?
Ideally flow, pressure and what it will drive. If you don't have these, your existing unit's nameplate, photos, and the machine's function are enough — we'll do the calculation.
